- LEXDRAY / PROJECT -
I met Alex Drayer at Project last year, and bugged him enough to let me help him out with LEXDRAY while I was living in Brooklyn this fall. He runs the company by himself and has product in all of my favorite shops. Around the world. Very impressive. I suggest checking out the bags.
Project came around again and I was asked to help out in the booth. This year was awesome… and kinda ridiculous. Lots of Yung Kanyes, leather, gold, men in skirts kilts, and of course lots of swag. I learned a lot and got to meet some cool people. A few lucky ones got a WINWEL tote bag package.
- THE VINTAGE FRAMES -
Got to check out the Vintage Frames booth at Project. If I could pull off afford a Celine chain, I’d do it.
- CCH PT 1 -
This is a recent installation I did using three screens. Each projection is an amalgamation of scanning, printing, cutting, scanning, collaging, and eventually 3D mapping old Playboy magazines and specific self taken photos, onto rendered 3D objects.
The acronym CCH stands for “Cars, Clothes, & Hoes” each screen representing one respectively.
The screens all faced away from one another, and where rear projected. Each is approx. 8′ across.
- WINWEL HOLIDAY ’12 -
It’s finally here! I’ve been damn busy this fall putting everything together, and am very excited to present “WINWEL Holiday ’12.” Yes, it’s the day after Christmas and I’m still calling it a holiday collection.
This has been the most difficult collection to put together yet. I’ve made a few (costly) mistakes but feel very prepared for whats to come. I’m lucky to have people like Kiddrae to help out last minute on the look book. I think he did a pretty good job.
- REGULAR PRINTING -
It worked out that when I was home for thanksgiving, the new tee shirts were being printed. I stopped by Regular Printing and took some pictures to show you a little bit of the process. They always do an incredible job, so I’m happy to have everything produced in Dallas and shipped across country.
There have been a few (costly) obstacles along the way, but WINWEL Holiday ’12 is coming soon. I can’t wait.
